In school ABA program

Light Up Autism Foundation works in partnership with each school.  Our aim is to empower staff with skills and support students with individual program strategies delivered through a 1 on 1 teaching model.

How does the In-School ABA program work?

Each individual program is written by an ABA psychologist with direct input from a teacher, student, parents, integration aids, speech therapist, occupational therapists and other professionals engaged in their intervention.

This provides a wholistic learning plan targeting behaviour and learning goals across multiple domains of social, emotional and academic goals and multiple environments.

How can you access the program?

In school ABA programs are funded in multiple ways:-

  • NDIS funding
  • parent / self-funding
  • scholarship for students with access to integration aide funding

What does a scholarship offer?

Light Up Autism Foundation currently offer scholarships at Boneo Primary School and Rye Primary School on the Mornington Peninsula.

Limited scholarships are available dependant on yearly fundraising and sponsorship from Bendigo Community Bank of Rye, Rosebud and Dromana .

To qualify students are required to present a documented diagnosis of ASD and school access to integration aides (teacher’s assistants).

Integration aides, or teachers’ assistants, are pivotal to implementing the ABA program which is reviewed by a senior ABA therapist and written and reviewed by ABA psychologist.
